Labatt Partnership Announced: (San Francisco, CA, 11/19/02)

The Labatt Blue PHA Hockey Team today announced its partnership with Labatt USA, combining the best game on ice with the best beer on ice. The Labatt Blue team will adopt the Labatt logo and make Labatt branded beers their official after-game beverage.

"This partnership helps bring our brands closer to our best customers, fans of the greatest game on earth" said Labatt USA's Bay-Area-based beer truck driver following the announcement. "Labatt and ice hockey are Canada's two finest exports, and the Labatt Blue team is an excellent ambassador for both."

"We couldn't be more pleased" observed Julie Stephenson, Director of Business Development for the Labatt Blue team. "There's nothing we like better after a game than beer, and there's no beer we like better than Labatt Blue, so it seemed natural to join up with Labatt USA as brand ambassadors."
